NACOSS National Conference is a program targeted towards enlightening, empowering and exposing Nigerian youths and their talent to a community of IT experts and users with the singular aim of stimulating the "can-do" spirit that will drive the Nigerian economy.

The National Conference and Competition 2016 is expected to host over Three thousand Participants from home and abroad cut across International/ECOWAS ICT Experts, Nigerian ICT Professionals/Engineers, Hot-Head Coders/Software-Developers, Government Policy makers from Federal and State MDAs, Lecturers and Researchers, Venture Capitalists, Students of Computer Science and other related courses from tertiary institutions around the federation, ICT Journalists and other stakeholders.

This is an annual program that creates a platform for Nigerian youths from the six (6) geo political zones of Nigeria who are IT neophytes and gurus, associated with the intriguing world of Information Communication Technology to learn, compete and test their technical skills.

Here is what you don't know about Comrade Emmanuel Gregory Essiet

Emmanuel  is the founder of Hardcodez information technology Service at Ewet Housing Estate Uyo, An ICT firm in Nigeria that offers numerous services among which are Networking, Software development, Computer Repairs and maintenance, training of students and lots more.  Emmanuel has provided service in various positions both at his state and national level in the ICT sector.

In 2011, Emmanuel was made Akwa Ibom State ICT director of the Nigeria Association of Computer Science Students (NACOSS) where he coordinated all ICT activities for youths and Students. He served in this position for two years.

In 2012, he was appointed as a Member, Representing South-South Zone in the IT Youth parliament in Nigeria. He also won the National Information Technology Quiz Competition organized by Nigeria Computer Society for two consecutive years (2012 and 2013)

Emmanuel was made the National Director of Software of NACOSS(Association of Computer Science and ICT youths) in 2013 where he encouraged young people into software development.

In 2014, he was appointed as the Zonal Coordinator of Young Innovators of Nigeria where he is still serving up till date.
Emmanuel in 2016, was voted in as the National President of all ICT/Computer Science students in Nigeria (NACOSS NATIONAL), he happen to be the Akwa Ibomite youth and second 2nd youth from south-south to sit on this seat since its inception in 1993

In 2016 he was also appointed a board member at International Young ICT group (InterYIT) representing Africa at Sri lanka .
